A very easy recipe for a busy day
If you are limited in time to cook dinner in the evening, this is a great way to spend less than 10 minutes earlier in the day preparing this delicious curry.
I served mine up with rice and yogurt but could also be enjoyed with naan bread and chutneys. I added Spinach, which is optional, I often use frozen spinach as it is so much easier to buy and store than fresh.
Ingredients
Serves 4
4 chicken breasts chopped into chunks
1 white onion diced
4 garlic cloves crushed
5 tbsp of tikka curry paste
1 tbsp crushed ginger paste
300ml passata
1 tbsp tomato passata
1 tbsp cider vinegar
5 cardamom pods
Spinach (optional)
100ml crème fraîche
Directions
Add all ingredients to the slow cooker, other than the crème fraîche, mix well
Cook for 3 hours on high, or 6 hours on low
20-30 minutes before the end of cooking, add the crème fraîche and mix.
